One of the easiest ways to have an amazing time in your life is to attend the Bole Festival, that is, if you avoid these 5 mistakes!
While the Bole festival has been tagged the “event of the year” for most Port Harcourt people. It has also been a bad memory for some others.
The Bole festival has been one to always usher in quite a number of events in the city, but it is regarded as the biggest event in the whole Southern part of Nigeria!
An event quite lauded and welcomed by residents of other cities in the country, such that the Bole Festival welcomes guests from Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan, Calabar and other cities in Africa’s most populous nation.

The Bole Festival which had since evolved since its first edition, is an annual event that holds every first week of August.
Orginally the event used to be a one-day event, but with the organizers listening to Oliver Twist’s want for more, it has evolved into a 2-day event. Yet, guests never want to miss any day, it’s sweet like that!

Weeeeeellllll, if you must have the best of fun at BOLE FESTIVAL, there are some mistakes you must want to avoid. Find out …..
CARRY THE LEAST 3-5K
In these kind of festivals, there are usually two kinds of people. You get to meet the people who spend and catch fun, at the festival, and still regret at home for how much they spent.
You also meet the second group, that won’t actually, want to spend and get home and regret not spending!
Plan your money as you go for the Bole Festival, and also hold at least N5,000 or in worst case scenario, N3,000. So you get to drink water, this is asides the gate fee!

COME WITH YOUR TRIBE
You know that your mad friend? This is the kind of event you really want them to come with you! As you come for this event, do well to come with your tribe. I don’t mean your village people o, but come with your squad!
This is the type of event you want to go to with someone. You want to be in twos, threes, fours, anyhow e sweet you. But have a squad, ranging from pictures and any et ce tra.
Moreso, try to be observant and security conscious. Remember THIS IS NIGERIA!
LOOK PENG ANYHOW!
You want to make sure you look peng while coming for the festival today. You see that your Christmas clothes and shoes? Today is the day you put them on!
You want to wear your best and come today! You want to kill them all with your dope swag!
Also, abeg, abeg, try to use deodorants, if you don’t want to use perfumes. Try to use deodorants, more so, if you are in Port Harcourt and would like to get good perfumes at the best cost.

PREPARE FOR RAIN AT THE BOLE FESTIVAL
One of the most consistent features of the event has been rainfall. This is Port Harcourt, situated in the wet state of Rivers State. So show no surprise when you see the rain!
As it has rained at almost all previous editions! aaaaaaand we like to keep our hopes up!
So, I may advise you to leave your favourite white sneakers at home and try something else on your feet, especially if you have not worn them before.
Though, unlike the last edition at Peace Park, you will be getting the feel of green on the field this time around!

LAS LAS, WHEN YOU TIRE, GO HOME

What if the top acts come by 11pm and you came in by 1pm? If it means going home and coming back later, please do!
But don’t be at the event and be squeezing your face! E no nice at all!
Las Las! There is only one Bole Festival. Do well to come, better late than never!
